This Privacy Policy describes how the "Nookify" application ("the App") handles information when You use it, outlines Your privacy rights, and explains how applicable laws protect You.
We do not operate any servers of our own for the App, and we do not collect, transmit, or have access to the contents you catalog in the App or any usage or analytics data. Everything you add to Nookify stays on your device, and is backed up only through your device's own platform account, entirely outside our reach.
Capitalized terms have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions apply regardless of whether the terms appear in singular or plural form.
We do not collect personal information such as Your name, email, or phone number. The App does not create accounts, does not ask You to sign in, and does not know who You are.
Item and Nook names, descriptions, quantities, and photos You add are stored locally on Your device, inside the App's own local database. This content is never transmitted to us, because we do not operate any server it could be sent to.
The App requests access to Your camera and/or photo library only so You can attach photos to Items and Nooks. These photos are stored on Your device (and in Your own Platform Backup, see below) and are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
To protect Your Content against loss of the device, the App uses Your device's own Platform Backup — iCloud (tied to Your Apple ID) on iOS, or Android Backup Service (tied to Your Google account) on Android. This backup is created, stored, and managed entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. The Company does not receive, store, or have any access to this backed-up data.
The App contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting service of any kind. We do not collect any technical or usage data about how You use the App.
The App offers a single, one-time in-app purchase, processed through Apple's or Google's own in-app purchase system and validated by RevenueCat, our Service Provider for this purpose only. RevenueCat processes the data necessary to confirm and restore Your purchase (such as a purchase/transaction identifier); it does not receive Your Content. RevenueCat's own privacy policy governs its handling of this data.
We do not share any data with third parties, because we do not collect any beyond what is described in "In-App Purchase Data" above, which is shared only with RevenueCat for the sole purpose of processing Your purchase.
Your Content remains on Your device (and in Your own Platform Backup) for as long as You keep the App installed and choose to keep it there. We do not hold a copy of it anywhere, so there is nothing on our side to retain or delete.
Since we never receive or store Your Content, You delete it Yourself, directly on Your device — by deleting individual Items or Nooks in the App, or by uninstalling the App. To remove it from Your Platform Backup, manage Your iCloud or Google account backup settings directly.
We cannot provide Your Content or usage data to any authority, because we never collect or have access to it in the first place.
Your Content is protected by Your device's own operating-system security. No security system guarantees 100% protection, but since we operate no server holding Your Content, there is no server-side copy of it to be exposed.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 — indeed, we do not collect personal data from anyone. If you're a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be clearly indicated by revising the "Last updated" date on this page.
